According to the Washington County Emergency Management Agency (EMA), the immediate danger to those in the area has been managed, but residents are being urged to evacuate immediately.
The dam at the Nashville City Reservoir overtopped and flooded on Tuesday after days of heavy rainfall. The EMA issued an evacuation order for about 200 homes in the area, which is located about 45 miles southeast of St. Louis, Missouri.
