Nicolas Jackson and Alfie Gilchrist also on target for hosts
Palmer's hat-trick takes him to 10 goals for the season
Chelsea cruised to a crucial three points with a resounding 6-0 victory against Everton on Monday evening.
Cole Palmer was the star of the show for the Blues, scoring four goals to take his tally for the season to 10. Nicolas Jackson and Alfie Gilchrist also got on the scoresheet for Chelsea.
The win was a welcome return to form for Chelsea, who had lost their previous two Premier League matches.
Here's how we rated each Chelsea player:
- Dorde Petrovic - 7/10: A quiet night for Chelsea's shot stopper having only had to make two routine stops all game. A clean sheet will always go down well.
- Cole Palmer - 10/10: The brilliant Cole Palmer scored four goals as Chelsea thrashed Everton 6-0 at Stamford Bridge. The 21-year-old is the joint-top scorer in the Premier League this season.
- Nicolas Jackson - 8/10: Jackson was a constant threat down the left flank and was unlucky not to score more than once. He also provided the assist for Palmer's second goal.
- Alfie Gilchrist - 8/10: Gilchrist was solid at the back and also got forward to good effect. He capped off a fine performance with a well-taken goal.
- The rest of the Chelsea team - 7/10: The rest of the Chelsea team played well but were overshadowed by the brilliance of Palmer.
